General Design Features
•
The site is located on a highly
visible yet topologically challenging lot in Cyberjaya.
Surrounded by a major highway on the east, a reservoir
on the west, and a steep terrain on the south, the
four incubators are radially organized around a
protected garden and recreation space. A perimeter
tree-lined driveway provides individual access to
each of the incubator units as well as acting as
a buffer space.

The most noticeable feature of
the project is the 'insect-like' look of the structure
and louvred roof. Extending from the ground, the
louvred structure and landscaped balconies act as
a protective shell from the site's surroundings
and direct sunlight. The structure continues over
the landscaped roof terrace providing 50% sunshading
for roof-top recreation and micro-environment cooling.
Ecological Design Features
•
Naturally ventilated service
cores are located along the perimeter with views
out for lower energy consumption and to promote
greater surrounding awareness. Basement carparking
is also naturally ventilated with voids for lower
level landscaping. Service ramps from these voids
are provided for the delivery of goods and handicap
accessibility.

Landscape is continous from central
garden to the rear of the site using landscaped
bridges.
